Despite being one of the biggest names in the NBA, Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham admitted that finding a romantic partner hasn\u2019t exactly been a layup.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a video<\/a> posted to the Pistons\u2019 social media on Monday, January 12, Cunningham, 24, was asked to \u201cdescribe your love life in basketball terms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cunningham\u2019s teammate Jalen Duren, who was standing nearby, wasted no time in ribbing him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAirball,\u201d Duren, 22, said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAli Marks Brunson, wife of New York Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson, has the couple\u2019s 17-month-old daughter to thank for opening up her life personally and professionally. \u201cWe\u2019ve been in the [New York] area for four years ever since Jalen and I moved to New York,\u201d Ali exclusively told Us Weekly via her partnership with ALOHA [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

Cunningham took the joking in stride, offering up \u201cdouble dribble\u201d and \u201cshot clock violation\u201d to describe his dating status.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At least Cunningham was able to find companionship in Duren, telling the camera, \u201cWe\u2019ve kind of got the same situation going on.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOur love lives ain\u2019t going too good,\u201d said Cunningham, who is currently in the midst of an MVP-caliber season in the Motor City.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When the social media admin suggested the teammates should go on double dates, Cunningham said, \u201cWe need to try that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to find some candidates,\u201d Cunningham continued. \u201cLet\u2019s turn it up a little bit. We want to find some candidates.\u201d<\/p>\n

Duren added, \u201cSpice it up a little bit!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTag some people below that should go on double dates with us,\u201d Cunningham said with a laugh. \u201cTag who y\u2019all want to see us on a double date with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Predictably, the comments on the video did not disappoint.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis real yall hit me up \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02 nurse and I got my own,\u201d one person wrote.<\/p>\n

Another follower tagged Cunningham and said, \u201cHow is the most handsome, talented, beautiful, dreamy, gorgeous man in the nba single? \ud83d\ude2b.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Cade Cunningham who\u2019s 6\u20196\u201d, built, and is an NBA superstar with elite aura is struggling to find love I don\u2019t even know what to say man,\u201d another person joked.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Some Pistons fans urged Cunningham and Duren not to get distracted with off-the-court pursuits in the middle of the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly thing y\u2019all boys need to date is the playoffs and then marry a championship!!!!\u201d one person commented.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Pistons currently have the best record in the Eastern Conference and, despite missing the past two games with a wrist injury, Cunningham currently has the third-best NBA MVP odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cunningham expressed the same sentiment to reporters during his postgame press conference after the Knicks victory.\u00a0<\/p>\n
