The\u00a0Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a>\u00a0will host the\u00a0San Antonio Spurs<\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday. This will be the fourth matchup of the season between the two squads. OKC has lost the first three, with its\u00a0latest defeat<\/a>\u00a0catching national headlines this past Christmas.<\/p>\n

The Thunder (33-7) utilized a strong second half to get a\u00a0124-112 win<\/a>\u00a0over the\u00a0Miami Heat<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had an efficient 29 points and eight assists. Chet Holmgren had 16 points and 10 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Spurs (27-12) were on the wrong side of a game-winner in a 104-103 loss to the\u00a0Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday. Victor Wembanyama had 29 points and seven rebounds.<\/p>\n

Complete domination by OKC in the third quarter. Won it 40-24. The defense went back to getting plenty of stops and hitting on timely jumpers. Unreal stretch by the Thunder.<\/p>\n

Gilgeous-Alexander finds Jaylin Williams for the corner 3-pointer. Spurs call a timeout. Williams hypes the crowd up. The Thunder open up their biggest lead of the night.<\/p>\n

A lot of back and forth. Neither team led by more than six points. The Thunder have played awesome defense, but the outside shooting woes continue. Gilgeous-Alexander has at least stepped up. He has 15 points and three rebounds.<\/p>\n

End 1Q: Thunder 32, Spurs 26<\/p>\n

What an awesome final defensive possession. Just completely swarmed Johnson with the ball. Then Gilgeous-Alexander has a textbook extra effort closeout on Waters III on the missed corner 3-pointer. Gilgeous-Alexander has an efficient 13 points to start.<\/p>\n

1Q, 6:42: Spurs 13, Thunder 11<\/p>\n

Kornet gets a couple of offensive rebounds to get a second-chance layup. Thunder call a timeout. So far, Williams has been much better. He’s attacked Wembanyama a couple of times for driving layups. Gotta keep doing that. Can’t let him completely derail possessions by his mere presence.<\/p>\n
