The Spurs tip off a three game homestand Thursday night against nine-time All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. <\/p>\n
Antetokounmpo recently recovered from a right calf strain that sidelined him for more than three weeks, and he now looks to lift the Bucks into the Eastern Conference playoff picture with his return. <\/p>\n
Despite recent setbacks against the Jazz and Cavaliers, San Antonio remains on pace to return to the playoffs for the first time in six seasons. After the disappointing loss to the Cavs, Spurs center Victor Wembanyama reflected on the challenges associated with handling success. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s also a transition in our season for us, because we just came off a very tough stretch of which we came out pretty successful,\u201d\u00a0 the star center told reporters. \u201cIt was very demanding games, mentally demanding scouting reports and opponents. We have to be able to settle down after that and not let everything go to waste.\u201d <\/p>\n
Barring injuries, expect another epic clash between Wembanyama and Antetokounmpo. <\/p>\n
