The Milwaukee Bucks just fell to a 17-23 record following their latest loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It wasn\u2019t a pretty game either; the team was blown out by 33 points at their home arena, the Fiserv Forum. Fans were naturally unhappy, showering the team with boos at the half.<\/p>\n

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a bona fide legend in Milwaukee. He brought the city its first NBA<\/a> championship in half a century. He\u2019s won multiple MVPs during his time with the Bucks. Giannis\u2019 fiery nature has led to a lot of success for them, but it has also led to an intense response to the booing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was definitely booing back,\u201d Antetokounmpo told The Athletic<\/a>. \u201cWhen I get booed, I boo back. I\u2019ve been doing that all season. You guys haven\u2019t been with me on the road. Whenever I get booed, I boo back. When people don\u2019t believe in me, I don\u2019t tend to be with them. I tend to be against them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tend to do what I\u2019m here to do, what I\u2019m good at. I think I\u2019m like a maverick. I\u2019ve always been that way, so it won\u2019t change now. It doesn\u2019t matter if I\u2019m at home or away. But yeah, I\u2019ve never been a part of something like that before, and I don\u2019t think it\u2019s fair. I don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Giannis being booed in Milwaukee sounds unbelievable. Although, to be fair, the fans were likely expressing their displeasure at the franchise for failing to build around him. If things don\u2019t change quickly in Milwaukee, this might really be the Greek Freak\u2019s final season there.<\/p>\n
