Devin Booker<\/a> and the Phoenix Suns<\/a>\u2019 three-game winning streak came to an end on Tuesday against the Miami Heat<\/a>. Booker turned in a strong performance to lead the Suns, registering 24 points on 6-of-19 shooting and 11-of-11 from the free-throw line, nine rebounds, nine assists, a steal and one three-pointer in 40 minutes of action. It still wasn\u2019t enough, though, with the Heat securing a 127-121 home victory.<\/p>\n

Booker exited the game in the third quarter due to a leg injury. He went to the locker room to get himself checked by the medical staff. Booker returned to the bench for the start of the fourth quarter and was able to play through the injury.<\/p>\n

The Suns are back in action on Thursday against the 28-10 Detroit Pistons<\/a>, the No. 1 team in the Eastern Conference. Phoenix, however, could be significantly shorthanded for that matchup.<\/p>\n

The Suns announced on Wednesday via the official injury report<\/a> that Booker is questionable to play against the Pistons due to a left ankle sprain. <\/p>\n

Booker has missed just three games this season for the Suns. In 37 starts in 2025-26, the four-time All-Star has averaged 25.2 points on 45.4% shooting, 4.1 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.6 triples in 34.1 minutes per contest.<\/p>\n

Booker is now in danger of missing his fourth game of the season. If he is unable to play against the Pistons, more minutes would be available for Jordan Goodwin and Ryan Dunn.<\/p>\n

The Suns will announce Booker\u2019s final status closer to tip-off. However, if he is sidelined on Thursday, his next chance to play would be on Sunday against the New York Knicks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Phoenix enters Thursday\u2019s game with a 24-16 record. As of writing, they are seventh in the Western Conference. <\/p>\n
