As the Dallas Mavericks<\/a> face injury concerns this week, the team is set to make a roster move ahead of its Thursday night action against the Utah Jazz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah Robinson-Earl is set to join the Mavs soon, and he\u2019ll do so on a 10-day contract, according to Christian Clark of The Athletic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The young veteran forward will get a chance to showcase himself at the main level once again, after spending time with the Mavericks\u2019 NBA G League squad.<\/p>\n

Robinson-Earl is a former Villanova product who was selected in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft. At the time, he was picked by the New York Knicks<\/a>, who then flipped him to the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The forward spent two seasons with the Thunder. During his sophomore effort, he averaged 18.9 minutes off the bench. He posted averages of 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the 2023-2024 NBA season, Robinson-Earl was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans<\/a>. He spent two seasons playing for the Pelicans, making 66 appearances last year. Seeing the court for 18.8 minutes off the bench, Robinson-Earl produced 6.3 points per game, while shooting 45 percent from the field. He also came down with 4.8 rebounds per game.<\/p>\n

Earlier this season, Robinson-Earl signed with the Indiana Pacers<\/a>. He collected multiple 10-day contracts. He appeared in 17 games, averaging 4.6 points and 5.2 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Lately, Robinson-Earl has been playing for the Texas Legends in the G League. Over the past 11 games, he has started and picked up plenty of playing time. While knocking down 52 percent of his shots from the field, the veteran hit on 34 percent of his threes with 4.5 attempts per game. He averaged a double-double of 19.3 points and 11.8 rebounds per game with the Legends.<\/p>\n

With the Mavericks facing a handful of injuries, Robinson-Earl will come in and give them some useful depth. The team is closing out a back-to-back on Thursday night against Utah, after losing to the Denver Nuggets<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
