Ja Morant doesn\u2019t seem thrilled to be with the Memphis Grizzlies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this season, he called out the coaching staff, which resulted in a team-issued suspension. After he had some unwanted time off due to an injury, Morant was back on the floor for a bit, and the trade rumors didn\u2019t suddenly dissolve. In fact, they are louder than ever.<\/p>\n

Currently, Morant is out with another setback. He was recently seen arguing with one of his teammates. He doesn\u2019t have a definitive return date revealed. The situation seems rocky at best.<\/p>\n

Former NBA reserve star Lou Williams wants to see Ja Morant get his Trae Young moment. The former Atlanta Hawks<\/a> guard was recently traded to the Washington Wizards<\/a> after spending years as the face of Atlanta\u2019s basketball club.<\/p>\n

Aside from the injuries, Morant hasn\u2019t looked anywhere close to the best version of himself this season. In 18 games, he\u2019s averaging 19.0 points on 40 percent shooting from the field. It\u2019s the first time he\u2019s averaged under 20 points since 2020-2021. He has never averaged under 44 percent from the field.<\/p>\n

Several teams have gauged interest in Morant so far, with the Miami Heat<\/a> being the most prominent, but nothing seems close to getting done at this time. The Grizzlies will likely continue to scan the market for more Morant suitors. In the meantime, the star guard will continue his recovery.<\/p>\n
