After taking the league by storm as a rookie in 2024-25 and having his maiden season end after just 23 games due to a torn meniscus in his left knee, he has not been able to find a rhythm quite yet in 2025-26.<\/p>\n<p>In 30 games, McCain is averaging just 6.3 points and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 35.4% from the floor and 32.3% from deep. It hasn&#8217;t helped him that he also suffered a torn UCL in his right thumb shortly before camp, but the dynamic guard out of Duke has been unable to earn a spot in the rotation and he needs the minutes to get back into form.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the Sixers have decided to send McCain down to the Delaware Blue Coats of the G League. Philadelphia is off on Sunday, so it gives McCain an opportunity to get some reps in with the team being off. The Blue Coats will take o the Evansville Boom on the road on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>This is McCain&#8217;s second stint in the G League and it will allow him to get some reps in a non-pressure environment.
