The Suns are rolling, winning 11 of their past 16 games, including two victories over the Knicks in just over a week. They\u2019re currently fighting for a top-six seed in the Western Conference and boast a 25-17 record, despite having spent most of the season playing without Jalen Green<\/a>, a key offseason addition.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe miss Jalen,\u201d Booker said after Phoenix\u2019s latest win over New York on Saturday, per Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic<\/a>. \u201cI think Jalen, he\u2019s another person out there that\u2019ll have rim presence for us and draw a lot of fouls. [Collin Gillespie<\/a>], he\u2019s really punctual. He\u2019s going to get to his middy. Grayson (Allen)<\/a> has some rim pressure, but we\u2019re all getting excited for Jalen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen echoed Booker\u2019s sentiment and expressed excitement about how Green could fit into the offense.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust another guy who can create his own shot, create advantages for other people,\u201d Allen said. \u201cMake tough shots. Draw two defenders. He\u2019s a big-time scorer. So he\u2019ll help a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

The wait for Green\u2019s return may be over. According to Rankin (Twitter link<\/a>), the fifth-year guard is listed as questionable for Monday\u2019s game against the Nets. While his return isn\u2019t guaranteed, coach Jordan Ott spoke in optimistic terms after the team\u2019s shootaround on Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything seemed to be good,\u201d Ott said of Green\u2019s third stint of five-on-five work. \u201cSo, we\u2019ll see. Still going in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Booker hinted that Green could have returned earlier, suggesting that the Suns were being cautious with his recovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been licking his chops getting ready for this moment,\u201d Booker said. \u201cI think we\u2019ve overdone it with keeping him out. He\u2019s going to be healthy and strong and ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyler Herro<\/a> didn\u2019t travel with the Heat for their five-game road trip after suffering a rib contusion that caused him to miss Saturday\u2019s game against the Thunder, writes Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel (via Twitter<\/a>). While initial reports<\/a> indicated that the injury was on the more minor side, he is now set to undergo an MRI, per Winderman (Twitter link<\/a>), and it\u2019s unclear how many more games he\u2019ll be held out for. Herro has been plagued by injuries for most of the season, having missed 31 of Miami\u2019s first 42 games.
\nLakers stars Luka Doncic<\/a> and LeBron James<\/a>\u00a0are questionable to play in Sunday night\u2019s matchup against the Raptors, tweets<\/a> Marc Stein. Doncic is dealing with left groin soreness, while James continues to fight through left foot joint arthritis and sciatica. The Lakers are still missing their third star, Austin Reaves<\/a>, due to the calf strain that has sidelined him since Christmas.
\nThe Knicks are in a tailspin, having lost eight of their last 10 games, and they may have to make do without two of their leaders against the beat-up Mavericks on Monday. Stefan Bondy notes (via Twitter<\/a>) that Jalen Brunson<\/a> and Josh Hart<\/a> are both listed as questionable for the game. Brunson, the team\u2019s captain and offensive hub, is dealing with a right ankle sprain, while Josh Hart<\/a>, who in many ways represents the team\u2019s emotional leader, has right ankle soreness.
\nWhile the Mavericks\u00a0are still missing a majority of the top end of their roster, including P.J.
