Kevin Durant moved past Dirk Nowitzki to occupy sixth place on the NBA\u2019s all-time point-scoring list after racking up 18 points during Houston Rockets\u2019 119-110 win over New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night. <\/p>\n
That haul moved Durant up to 31,562 career points, and took him past former Dallas Mavericks star Nowitzki, who has 31,560. He now sits behind Michael Jordan, who is in fifth place with 32,292 points.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo be up there with Dirk, somebody I looked \u200bup to, I idolized, \u2060I competed against,\u201d said Durant after the match. \u201cWe had some great battles.
