The bad news for the Notre Dame Men\u2019s Basketball program continues to come at us. Just a day after the Irish lost their fourth straight game (all ACC games) we find out that Kebba Njie will miss the rest of the season with an injury.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnfortunately, in a previous game, I sustained a knee injury that has brought my season to an earlier end than I had hoped.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cEven with this unexpected setback, I stand incredibly grateful for everything this journey has given me. Wearing this jersey, representing this university, and competing alongside my brothers has meant more to me than words can explain.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI would like to thank my coaches, trainers, teammates, family, and everyone who has supported me through the highs and lows. Without these amazing people in my corner, I wouldn\u2019t be the man I am today.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis chapter didn\u2019t end the way I planned, but I know that through constant perseverance and conviction, God will make it work. I am proud of the hard work I put in and the memories I\u2019ll carry with me forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
This is more than a setback, however, for Kebba. This means his collegiate career is over as this was his last year of eligibility.
