Here’s the roundup, plus some notables:

NONLEAGUE

Donegal 43, Red Land 37 — Exhale, Mount Joy. It took until late January, but the Indians are in the W column. Hannah Mumper ripped four 3-pointers and matched her season-high with 16 points, Hailey Bomberger chipped in with 10 points, and Donegal snapped a 15-game slide to open the season after picking off the host Patriots. Donegal built a 28-12 lead at the half, and then fended off Red Land’s fourth-quarter comeback attempt to slam the door.

Manheim Township 43, Chambersburg 25 — The Blue Streaks gassed up the bus and made the 92-mile hike to Franklin County. And Township headed back home with a win, its third in a row. The Streaks outscored the host Trojans 31-8 over the middle two quarters — including a seal-the-deal 18-4 third-quarter run — and never looked back. Ciniya Robinson (four 3-pointers, 20 points) and Aniyah Williams (11 points) paced Township’s offense.

Susquehanna Township 51, McCaskey 23 — At the MLK Classic at PSU-Harrisburg, Hanna sprinted to a 30-9 lead at the break, then opened up some more breathing room with a 17-8 third-quarter clip and downed the Red Tornado. Hanna started the week at No. 2 in the D3-4A power ratings — percentage points behind Northern Lebanon. Sarai Lewis scored 11 points for McCaskey.

DISTRICT 3 GIRLS BASKETBALL POWER RATINGS

Biglerville 42, Annville-Cleona 35 — The host Dutchmen saw their snazzy 5-game winning streak come to a halt, after the Canners closed the game on a 19-6 blitz and picked up the come-from-behind victory. Savannah Kleinfelter and Georgia Sellers scored 9 points apiece for A-C, which had a 19-16 lead at the half, and a 29-23 cushion heading into the fourth quarter. But the Dutchmen couldn’t slam the door.

Palmyra 47, Hempfield 32 — The host Cougars used a 13-0 second-quarter spree for a 20-6 halftime edge, and Palmyra handed the Black Knights their eighth straight setback. Asheion Burgess popped in 13 points for Hempfield, which played a spirited second half — but couldn’t catch the Cougars.

SIGN UP FOR OUR $4 LNP SPORTS PASS

2025-26 L-L LEAGUE GIRLS BASKETBALL STANDINGS, SCHEDULES, STATS

Meanwhile, in a Section 2 clash in Witmer, surging Warwick made it 11 victories in a row, but the Warriors had to hold off host Conestoga Valley at the tape.
