Memphis Grizzlies<\/a> guard Ja Morant is expected to play on Jan. 21 when the team hosts the Atlanta Hawks at FedExForum (7 p.m. CT, FanDuel Sports Network).<\/p>\n

Morant was not listed on the injury report. He missed six games due to a right calf contusion before returning on Jan. 18 against the Orlando Magic<\/a> in London, part of the Grizzlies’ two-game series in Europe.<\/p>\n

Morant shined, finishing with 24 points and 13 assists in the win.<\/p>\n

The two-time All-Star has been the center of trade talks in recent days<\/a>, with the Grizzlies deciding to listen to offers. This is the first time Memphis has explored trade opportunities for Morant in his seven seasons.<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies (18-23) are 11th in the Western Conference. Morant has been available for 19 games. Memphis has a 7-12 record when he has played.<\/p>\n

He is averaging 19.3 points and 7.8 assists this season.<\/p>\n
