Brielle Martin (season-high 10 points) and Kira Lehman<\/a> (10 points) spearheaded Cocalico, which trailed 39-27 heading into the fourth quarter, before closing the game on a 17-8 push to make the Raiders sweat it out. Manheim Central 64, Conestoga Valley 30 \u2014 The Barons, coming off back-to-back losses to fall out of a tie for first place in the wild Section 3 race, took out their frustrations on the host Buckskins. Maddie Gehman (season-high 21 points), Lilah Walters (14 points) and Gianna Walters (three 3-pointers, 13 points) paced the offense, Central splashed 10 treys, and the Barons cruised past CV. Central broke away with a 22-10 second-quarter spurt, and then outscored the Bucks 18-2 in the third quarter to seal it. Nyeoni Johnson scored 8 points for CV, which suffered its third straight setback \u2014 one night after taking rampaging Warwick to the wire in a hard-fought Section 2 game.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

Cedar Crest 42, Lampeter-Strasburg 37 \u2014 A couple of section leaders\u00a0 \u2014 and potential league playoff opponents \u2014 squared off, and the host Falcons made their 24-21 halftime lead stand up. Elli Malinoski (15 points) and Kaila Francis (12 points) paced Cedar Crest, the Section 1 leader. Trinity Carter (three 3-pointers, 13 points) led L-S, which shares the Section 3 lead with Lancaster Catholic and Northern Lebanon. That will get sorted out further on Friday when L-S welcomes Donegal and Northern Lebanon hosts Lancaster Catholic. Stay tuned.
