Draymond Green<\/a> doesn\u2019t believe there\u2019s an immediate fix for losing Jimmy Butler<\/a> — only the work of adjusting without him.<\/p>\n

After the Warriors\u2019 145-127 loss to the Toronto Raptors<\/a> on Tuesday night, Green made clear that Butler\u2019s absence can\u2019t be solved by a single lineup change or individual performance following his season-ending ACL injury.<\/a><\/p>\n

“First order of business is just trying to figure it out,” Green told reporters. “There is no one answer. The one answer isn’t anyone here — that’s not going to happen. Jimmy is who Jimmy is for a reason. So, to think that A, one person is going to fix it, or B, we’re going to fix it in one day, is not realistic.”<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst order of business is just trying to figure it out. There\u2019s no one answer\u2026 But I believe we can figure it out. What does that mean for us long-term? I don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Butler tore his right ACL in the third quarter of Monday night\u2019s win over the Miami Heat after landing awkwardly while catching an entry pass. He immediately grabbed his right knee and remained on the floor for several minutes before being helped to the locker room. The Warriors confirmed Tuesday that the 36-year-old will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 NBA season.<\/p>\n

Before the injury, Butler had been a key part of Golden State\u2019s rotation, averaging 20 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. <\/p>\n

That production, Green emphasized, isn\u2019t something one player can replace.<\/p>\n

“That would be kind of lessening the value of what Jimmy brings, and we know what that value is,” Green said. “Injuries happen and that\u2019s why you have 15 guys on the roster. Somebody else, or collectively, has to step up. But I believe that we can figure it out.”<\/p>\n

What that process looks like long-term remains uncertain.<\/p>\n

“If I had all the answers right now, I would gladly give them to you,” Green added. “But I just don\u2019t.”<\/p>\n

For now, the Warriors move forward without Butler, knowing there\u2019s no immediate fix to replace his impact.<\/p>\n
