The impressive 7-footer is dealing with a non-COVID-related illness. The medical staff will likely make a final decision regarding Queta&#8217;s availability closer to tip-off.<\/p>\n<p>Josh Minott (ankle), Derrick White (rest) and Jayson Tatum (Achilles) join Queta on the Celtics injury report; however, that trio is all listed as &#8220;out&#8221; and will not participate in the contest. Should Queta miss the game, Joe Mazzulla could lean into a small-ball lineup, or he could lean on Chris Boucher. The veteran forward has struggled for playing time since signing with the Celtics during the summer.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Queta has been a rock for the Celtics this season. In 41 games, he&#8217;s averaging 10.4 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists, shooting 65.7% from the field. He&#8217;s shown legitimate growth as a screener, rebounder and shot blocker. Furthermore, Queta&#8217;s defensive IQ has noticeably increased, which is likely, while his foul rate hasn&#8217;t spiked, despite the additional minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Should Queta be ruled out, Luka Garza could be in line for his second start of the season.
