Mike Brown and Karl-Anthony Towns have repeatedly been adamant that Towns has a bigger adjustment<\/a> than anyone to Brown\u2019s system.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But Brown has begun adjusting the system to Towns.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s getting more comfortable,\u201d Brown said after practice Friday. \u201cBut also, too, I\u2019ve had to make some adjustments to help him out, make it a little easier for him, which I\u2019ve done.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s in the different play calls and actions that we do. We\u2019ve made the adjustments to try and make it a little easier for him and to try and put him in positions that will help him get into stuff quicker.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Towns\u2019 production is down across the board this year under Brown compared to last year under Tom Thibodeau.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Josh Hart, who plays an important role as the Knicks\u2019 facilitator in getting Towns involved, thinks it works both ways.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a little different,\u201d Hart said Friday. \u201cBut we\u2019re basketball players, we\u2019ve got to be able to adapt to different situations. I think coaches have to adapt to their players and we have to adapt to coaches. I think there\u2019s a good middle ground. Sometimes, we\u2019re still trying to figure that out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the end of the day, he\u2019s a good offensive player, he\u2019s going to figure that out. We\u2019ve got to make sure we focus on defense. I don\u2019t want to hear too much about his touches, I want to hear about him blocking shots.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Guerschon Yabusele, whom The Post reported Wednesday<\/a> the Knicks are in active talks to trade, seems to be hinting at a departure on X.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever happens tomorrow, I\u2019m extremely blessed to be in the position that I am today,\u201d Yabusele wrote in a since-deleted post Thursday night. \u201cMinor setback for major comeback that\u2019s my favorite. Love y\u2019all.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

On Friday, he reposted a post from a French basketball account that said, \u201cA trade and a good situation for the captain [of the French national team], that\u2019s all we\u2019re asking.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Yabusele, whom the Knicks signed in free agency this past offseason, has struggled and largely fallen out of Brown\u2019s rotation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
