Various new outlets have closely followed the situation after federal agents allegedly shot and killed<\/a> a Minnesota resident. This comes after protests in the area have grown recently with increased political tension.<\/p>\n

The league announced in a statement that it will move the game to Sunday, Jan. 25 with a 5:30 p.m. tip off.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe National Basketball Association game scheduled for today between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center has been postponed,\u201d the NBA said in its full release.\u00a0\u201cThe decision was made to prioritize the safety and security of the Minneapolis community.\u201d<\/p>\n
