In a moment of silence for Alex Pretti<\/a>, the ICU nurse killed by federal agents under dubious circumstance in Minneapolis, spectators at the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> game let their voices be heard loud and clear on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cFuck ICE<\/a>,\u201d many screamed, referring to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.<\/p>\n

The brief memorial began with an announcement as Pretti\u2019s photo appeared on the scoreboard.<\/p>\n

\u201cTarget Center, we are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Alex Pretti that occurred yesterday in Minneapolis,\u201d the public address announcer said. \u201cWe extend our love, support and heartfelt sympathies to Alex\u2019s family, friends and our community during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was then that silence was requested. After several seconds, Pretti\u2019s image went dark on the jumbotron and the impassioned expletives flew.<\/p>\n

It was not the only demonstration during the game, which was won by the Warriors<\/a>, 111-85.<\/p>\n

In the second quarter fans chanted \u201cICE out!\u201d in a video<\/a> shared by Warriors reporter Joseph Dycus. They also held up \u201cICE OUT\u201d signs at the arena.<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves dunk squad also wore \u201cICE Out\u201d T-shirts as they performed their acrobatic slams, video showed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The game was played after it was delayed a day<\/a> because of Pretti\u2019s killing.<\/p>\n

Protests have multiplied in the wake of agents\u2019 fatal shootings of Pretti and Renee Good in Minneapolis. The Trump administration deployed ICE and U.S. Border Patrol to the region over the objections of Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.
