The Golden State Warriors<\/a> suffered a 108-83 blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> on Monday. Draymond Green<\/a> did not play due to a back injury. Steph Curry<\/a>, Jimmy Butler<\/a>, Jonathan Kuminga<\/a>, Al Horford, Set Curry and De\u2019Anthony Melton were all sidelined as well<\/a>, as an extremely shorthanded Warriors side suffered its third loss in four games.<\/p>\n

Green\u2019s injury is not considered serious. Monday\u2019s game against the Wolves was the tail end of the back-to-back set, which factored in on the team\u2019s decision to give the former Defensive Player of the Year the night off.<\/p>\n

The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz<\/a>, and Green is trending in the right direction.<\/p>\n

Green played on the first night of the back-to-back against Minnesota. He logged two points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals in 23 minutes of action. Green helped lead the Warriors to a dominant 111-85 victory over Anthony Edwards<\/a> and Co.<\/p>\n

Golden State released its initial injury report for Wednesday\u2019s matchup against the Jazz. Green is still on the list with a sore left lower back, but the good news is that he has been tagged as probable to play.<\/p>\n

Curry is also considered probable to play against Utah as well after a one-game absence<\/a>. While Kuminga remains out with a left knee issue, Horford and Melton are not listed on the injury report. Gary Payton II, however, has popped up on the report with a right calf injury, though he is probable as well.<\/p>\n

The Warriors are in dire need of a win, and the fact that they will be relatively healthy against the 15-31 Jazz on Wednesday is a good sign.<\/p>\n

Golden State enters that game with a 26-22 record and eighth in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n
