What we know"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/basketball\/nba\/teams\/dallas-mavericks\/6\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Dallas Mavericks;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Dallas Mavericks<\/a> will rest rookie sensation Cooper Flagg for Wednesday night&#8217;s game against the <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/basketball\/nba\/teams\/minnesota-timberwolves\/16\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Minnesota Timberwolves;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>, the team announced earlier Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Officially, Flagg is being held out for &#8220;left ankle injury management.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>He scored 16 points in 34 minutes in the Mavericks&#8217; last contest on Jan. 24 against the <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/basketball\/nba\/teams\/los-angeles-lakers\/13\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Los Angeles Lakers;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Los Angeles Lakers<\/a>. Flagg, the top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, has had a few injury scares this year but has only missed three other games this season.
