{"id":569199,"date":"2026-01-29T20:23:16","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T20:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/569199\/"},"modified":"2026-01-29T20:23:16","modified_gmt":"2026-01-29T20:23:16","slug":"dallas-mavericks-get-new-date-for-postponed-road-game-against-milwaukee-bucks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/569199\/","title":{"rendered":"Dallas Mavericks get new date for postponed road game against Milwaukee Bucks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/nba\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/nba\/\">NBA<\/a> announced two significant changes to the Mavericks\u2019 schedule on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Dallas\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2026\/01\/25\/dallas-mavericks-flight-delay-milwaukee-bucks-winter-storm\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2026\/01\/25\/dallas-mavericks-flight-delay-milwaukee-bucks-winter-storm\/\">postponed road game against the Milwaukee Bucks,<\/a> originally scheduled for Sunday evening, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 31 at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The Mavericks planned to play the Bucks on the second night of a back-to-back following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2026\/01\/24\/dallas-mavericks-los-angeles-lakers-luka-doncic-cooper-flagg-score-nba\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2026\/01\/24\/dallas-mavericks-los-angeles-lakers-luka-doncic-cooper-flagg-score-nba\/\">Saturday\u2019s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.<\/a> However, they were unable to fly out of Dallas Love Field late Saturday and the majority of Sunday because the winter storm\u2019s freezing temperatures prevented their plane from being properly de-iced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The league also announced a change for one of Dallas\u2019 meetings with the Grizzlies in Memphis. A Mavericks-Grizzlies game originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 1 will now take place on Thursday, March 12. Additionally, that game will serve as the front-end of a road-home back-to-back since the Cleveland Cavaliers visit American Airlines Center on March 13.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">They will have just one day between that game before back-to-back games on the road in Cleveland and New Orleans on March 15 and 16, respectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The Bucks game is the backend of a home-road back-to-back since Dallas will host the Timberwolves on March 30.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The Mavericks entered the season tied with 14 other teams in the NBA for the most games on consecutive days with 16.
