This is not a normal version of either side. Injuries have taken away several starters and regular rotation pieces.Because of that, this game will likely be decided by bench players and role players. The Nuggets still have the edge at home, but the Nets have a chance if their fill-ins can hold up for heavy minutes.<\/p>\n

Denver Nuggets injuries and likely lineup changes vs Brooklyn Nets (January 29, 2026)<\/p>\n

Nikola Joki\u0107 is out with a knee bone bruise and will miss at least a few more games. Aaron Gordon is out with a hamstring strain. Christian Braun is also out with an ankle sprain.Jamal Murray is listed as probable with hamstring and hip soreness. He is expected to play, though he may not be at full strength. Tamar Bates remains out long term after foot surgery.With Joki\u0107 and Gordon unavailable, Denver has to change how it plays. Jalen Pickett, Peyton Watson, Bruce Brown and Zeke Nnaji should all see bigger roles. Noah Clowney is out because of a back problem, and Haywood Highsmith is out with a knee injury. Terance Mann is questionable and will be decided close to tip-off.These absences leave Spencer Dinwiddie to handle most of the ball work.
