For center <a href=\"https:\/\/nesn.com\/?post_type=post&amp;p=2062820\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Neemias Queta<\/a>, this game meant a little bit more to him.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to finding his way to the C\u2019s, Queta spent the first two seasons of his career with the Kings. He ended up getting released by the team, which led to Boston scooping him up. Now, he\u2019s the Celtics starting center, and he\u2019s enjoyed a career year after seeing his role with the team expand.<\/p>\n<p>Queta wasn\u2019t at his best against the Kings, as he shot just 36.4% from the field, but he still finished with 10 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block. Simply put, Queta has been a game-changer on both sides of the ball for Boston, and he made it clear he\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/celtics\/news\/gamerecap-keys-20260130-sacbos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">happy to be with a team that values him<\/a> after things didn\u2019t work out with Sacramento.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really happy that Boston stepped up. I\u2019m happy where I\u2019m at,\u201d Queta simply said after the game.<\/p>\n<p>So far this season, Queta has started all but one of the 45 games he\u2019s played in for the C\u2019s, averaging 10 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 63.3% from the field. Queta\u2019s vertical playstyle has made him one of the more underrated pieces of Boston\u2019s success this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"nesn-in-content-ad__copy\">Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<p>The addition of Queta was just another shrewd move by Brad Stevens and the Celtics front office, and it\u2019s safe to say the Portuguese big man has become a key piece of this team moving forward.
