DENVER \u2014 It\u2019s been a whirlwind week in Denver sports, covered in the latest edition of Talk of the Town on Denver7. After the Denver Nuggets\u2019 Game 7 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the franchise moved quickly to name David Adelman as the new head coach. But the more pivotal decision lies ahead: hiring a new general manager.<\/p>\n

Josh Kroenke is taking his time with the general manager search, signaling its importance. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe said he is not rushing it. He\u2019s willing to listen to outside voices,\u201d Bradey King noted during Talk of the Town. <\/p>\n

Interim GM Ben Tenzer remains in place and is considered a candidate for the permanent role.<\/p>\n

The next GM, however, will face a tough task. Due to salary cap constraints and ownership\u2019s refusal to exceed the NBA\u2019s second tax apron, the front office will have limited flexibility. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhoever gets that job is going to be handcuffed,\u201d Nick Rothschild added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos are gearing up for OTAs (organized team activities) this week. With no quarterback controversy, attention turns to other positions.<\/p>\n

\u201cSean Payton has done such a good job with this overhaul\u2026 there really aren\u2019t a lot of places we\u2019re wondering who\u2019s going to start,\u201d Rothschild said, highlighting the roster stability heading into training camp.<\/p>\n

With the Nuggets entering a period of transition and the Broncos building momentum, Denver fans have plenty to follow this summer.<\/p>\n
