The Warriors recently informed Jimmy Butler<\/a> they don\u2019t plan to trade him as he rehabilitates from a torn ACL in his right knee, a league source tells Nick Friedell of The Athletic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"Jake Fischer and Marc Stein of The Stein Line reported<\/a> on Saturday that they have received \u201cstrong indications\u201d that Golden State\u2019s offer for Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a> is unlikely to include Butler. Both players make $54.1MM this season.<\/p>\n

General manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. said he didn\u2019t expect to trade<\/a> Butler in the wake of the six-time All-Star\u2019s season-ending injury. However, that was before the Bucks became more receptive to offers for the two-time MVP.<\/p>\n

Multiple reports have indicated Stephen Curry<\/a> is the only untouchable Warrior in talks for Antetokounmpo. Golden State\u2019s actions will speak louder than words when it comes to Butler, Friedell notes.<\/p>\n

If Butler is not part of the Warriors\u2019 offer, four-time champion Draymond Green<\/a> will likely have to be part of the outgoing package for salary-matching purposes. He addressed that possibility<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been here for 14 years,\u201d Green said. \u201cI have no reason to sit and worry about leaving. But if I\u2019m traded, that\u2019s part of the business. I ain\u2019t losing no sleep, though. I slept great last night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other members of Golden State\u2019s roster admit the lead-up to the trade deadline is a stressful experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard on all of us,\u201d veteran big man Al Horford<\/a> told Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area<\/a>, \u201cbut especially for younger players that are trying to find their way and establish themselves. This time of year, I find that it doesn\u2019t matter what team you\u2019re on, it\u2019s always going to be stressful. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s tough. We kind of have to have some sort of empathy for everybody, because we\u2019re all just kind of going through it. And there\u2019s a lot of \u2018what ifs\u2019 and things like that. From my experience, once the deadline passes, everybody kind of takes a deep breath. It slows down, and you\u2019ll see a better team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Backup guard De\u2019Anthony Melton<\/a> is trying to tune out the outside noise, according to Poole.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, you just got to put your head down and work,\u201d Melton said. \u201cSome stuff is out of your control. Early in my career, one of the vets told that when a superstar or whatever wants to get moved, everybody\u2019s on the (trading) block.
