After sitting out Friday\u2019s win<\/a> over the Sacramento Kings, Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown came back fully rested and energized for Sunday\u2019s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.<\/p>\n

It showed, as Brown led the Celtics<\/a> to a 107-79 rout of the Bucks at TD Garden with one of his best games of the season. In just 29 minutes, he scored 30 points on 12 of 20 shooting, including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc.<\/p>\n

Brown also made a massive impact on the boards, matching his season high with 13 rebounds \u2014 12 of which came on the defensive end.<\/p>\n

There were plenty of defensive boards to be had with Milwaukee shooting just 35.4 percent from the field, and Brown aggressively gobbled up as many as he could.<\/p>\n

After the game, Joe Mazzulla praised his superstar\u2019s impressive effort on the glass.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, what he\u2019s been doing for us on the offensive end, but all the little things that go into it, he knows that\u2019s how he impacts winning,\u201d Mazzulla told reporters<\/a> during his postgame press conference. \u201cSo that\u2019s just another way that he leads \u2014 his understanding of what gives us the best chance to win every night. Also, helping set the tone for the standard that we have to have on both ends of the floor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Brown had an explanation for his big rebounding performance.<\/p>\n

It was the eighth time in 45 games this season that Brown has notched double-digit rebounds. His 6.9 rebounds per game this season are tied with his career high from 2022-23.<\/p>\n

The Bucks are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league, ranking 29th in rebounds per game, so it\u2019s not surprising that Brown was able to take advantage and dominate on the glass.<\/p>\n
