NBC is debuting “Basketball Night in America” ahead of its “Sunday Night Basketball” doubleheader featuring LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> visiting Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks<\/a> and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> traveling to Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets<\/a>.<\/p>\n NBC lined up the big guns for the pregame show. Indiana Fever superstar and Iowa alumna Caitlin Clark will join NBC as a special contributor<\/a> for “Basketball Night in America” alongside host Maria Taylor and analysts Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady, all Naismith Basketball Hall of Famers.<\/p>\n Clark, a two-time WNBA All-Star and the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, has averaged 18.5 points, 8.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game across 53 games in her professional career.
