The Chicago Bulls<\/a> locker room is going to have a long week<\/a> ahead of them after losing two of their last three games\u2013all against the Miami Heat since Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reported<\/a> on Sunday night that the locker room is growing frustrated with the front office, even after the team traded for two second-round picks and Dario Saric from the Sacramento Kings.<\/p>\n

With Sunday night\u2019s 134-91 loss the Heat, the Bulls fell to 24-26 on the season. They\u2019re in control of the Eastern Conference\u2019s No. 9 seed before the trade deadline on Thursday. In the meantime, Chicago will play the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Per Cowley, Bulls center Nikola Vucevic wasn\u2019t afraid to criticize<\/a> the front office following Sunday night\u2019s rather lopsided loss. He thinks the roster needs to make moved to \u201ctake the next step\u201d and get out of sputtering in April during the Play-In Tournament.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know it\u2019s not fun when you\u2019re in the same position year after year, and especially when you can\u2019t get out of that play-in, you get stuck behind Miami every time, so we\u2019ll see how it goes,\u201d Vucevic said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut yeah, I think this team does need some things that can definitely help us to go forward, take that next step, and we\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vucevic suggested the front office and executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas hadn\u2019t done enough to give Chicago size.<\/p>\n

\u201cMainly we need some size and athleticism,\u201d Vucevic said. \u201cWe\u2019re pretty undersized at most positions. I think that\u2019s it, that would be the main thing. Because the way the league is right now and a lot of teams have these big wings, I think that\u2019s something that can definitely help us if we add some of that.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust the way the game has changed, the way the game has evolved, most teams their two, three and four are 6-8, 6-9, and we don\u2019t really have that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ouch.<\/p>\n

Vucevic isn\u2019t wrong. And it\u2019s hurting the Bulls against the better teams in the association.<\/p>\n

Chicago isn\u2019t going to the playoffs as is. With seven players on the roster headed for free agency, it\u2019s time for Karnisovas to trade core members of the team away or bring a big-time star to the Bulls.<\/p>\n

Early in the season, the Bulls looked hot, but couldn\u2019t close out against teams with star power. That trend will continue until a superstar comes to Chicago, be it through the draft, free agency, or trade.<\/p>\n
