Sources said that Rozier\u2019s salary, \u201cwhich had been held in escrow since December, will be released after the arbitrator found that under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, players cannot be put on unpaid leave other than in cases of domestic abuse or child abuse.\u201d Purdum notes the Heat and NBA \u201cagreed to put Rozier\u2019s salary for the 2025-26 season in escrow\u201d after Rozier\u2019s arrest. The NBPA \u201cappealed the agreement to withhold his salary,\u201d which is approximately $26.6M.
