Toronto Raptors<\/a> coach Darko Rajakovic was hoping he will have two All-Stars this year, but the NBA<\/a>announcement for reserves<\/a> confirmed only Scottie Barnes made it to the All-Star Game. Brandon Ingram, their top scorer, was left out.<\/p>\n

Sentimental Raptors fans still have a lot to cheer for though, as their history is well-represented. Two former Raptors were also named to the festivities, so much so that even Fred VanVleet felt excited about it.<\/p>\n

“Norm Pskills and Scottie in the allstar game,” VanVleet wrote on X, along with fire emojis. He was referring to former Raptors players Norman Powell and Pascal Siakam<\/a>, as well as Barnes.<\/p>\n

VanVleet won the 2019 title alongside Powell and Siakam. They also went through tough battles together before they had a franchise-changing player in Kawhi Leonard<\/a>, who led Toronto to its first-ever championship.<\/p>\n

Powell, making his All-Star Game debut at 32 years old, has gone through three teams since leaving the Raptors in 2021. He is the Miami Heat<\/a>‘s top scorer this season with 23 points per game.<\/p>\n

Siakam, the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals MVP<\/a>, earned his fourth All-Star selection. The Indiana Pacers<\/a> are not doing particularly well due to injuries, but Spicy P continues to perform at a high level, averaging 23.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.<\/p>\n

For what it’s worth, Siakam was watching as the All-Star reserves<\/a> were announced. Sure enough, it’s safe to say that he and VanVleet are on the same page about the mini reunion.<\/p>\n

The NBA All-Star Game will take place on Feb. 15 at Intuit Dome, home of the Los Angeles Clippers<\/a>.<\/p>\n
