Utah will trade its most favorable 2027 first-round pick (the Jazz also have picks from the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves), the Lakers&#8217; 2027 first-round pick and the Suns&#8217; 2031 first-round pick to the Grizzlies, <a data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JakeLFischer\/status\/2018757983404990915\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:per reports;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">per reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In moving on from Jackson, the Grizzlies have also created a massive trade exception of $28.8 million for the team. That&#8217;s the largest trade exception in NBA history, according to Bobby Marks of ESPN. Jackson is making $23.4 million this season.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson, 26, is a two-time NBA All-Star and a former Defensive Player of the Year. Jackson&#8217;s trade figures to be the first step in a potential massive rebuild for the franchise.
