With the Warriors’ locker room full of uncertainty as Thursday’s NBA trade deadline approaches, several Golden State players reportedly have been offered up in hopes of acquiring Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.<\/p>\n
NBA insider Marc Stein reported Tuesday night<\/a> he has confirmed that Draymond Green is part of the Warriors’ pitch to the Bucks, “in presumed combination with Jonathan Kuminga, Milwaukee native Brandin Podziemski and draft capital” (h\/t NBA Central<\/a>).<\/p>\n The Warriors are willing to trade Draymond Green, Brandin Podziemski, and Jonathan Kuminga for Giannis Antetokounmpo, per @TheSteinLine<\/a> <\/p>\n \u201cThe Stein Line was the first to report on Jan. 23 that Jimmy Butler would not be included in Golden State’s Giannis offers and it has since\u2026 pic.twitter.com\/va391CKEbG<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) February 4, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n In addition to a four-time NBA champion in Green, along with young talents Kuminga and Podziemski, the Warriors can send up to four first-round draft picks to Milwaukee and first-round swap rights in the next seven years.<\/p>\n It’s almost a guarantee they would have to include either Green or Butler’s remaining salary in a deal for Antetokounmpo. It appears Golden State is going with the former, opting to stick with Butler when he returns from his season-ending ACL tear sometime during the 2026-27 campaign. It’s likely that Green, who could contribute immediately for the Bucks, is a more enticing option for Milwaukee, too.<\/p>\n Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he spoke Monday with Green about being traded, and admitted the Golden State veteran is in a “weird position”<\/a> as the deadline approaches. Green, on the other hand, said Friday that he isn’t worried about the trade rumors<\/a> swirling around him.<\/p>\n “I’ve been here for 14 years,” Green told reporters after the Warriors’ 131-124 loss<\/a> to the Detroit Pistons at Chase Center. “I have no reason to sit and worry about leaving. But if I’m traded, that’s part of your business. It is what it is.
