Koprivica was drafted in the second round by the Detroit Pistons in 2021. The Jazz acquired those rights in 2024 from the Los Angeles Clippers. Now, those rights are sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The biggest question for Jazz fans is: how much are these cash considerations?<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Personally, I think the reason for this is pretty clear: to offset upcoming fines for the Jazz tanking. Utah can now do what they need to end the season, and they now have a slush fund for any sort of fine that might come their way.
