The Golden State Warriors will be quite shorthanded tonight when they visit the Phoenix Suns. Following a busier-than-expected trade deadline, in which they shipped out Jonathan Kuminga, Buddy Hield, and Trayce Jackson-Davis, while receiving Kristaps Porzi\u0146\u0123is, the Warriors are down a lot of players \u2026 and it doesn\u2019t help that their superstar is still sidelined, too.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s the full injury report for both teams.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Steph Curry (right patellofemoral pain syndrome)<\/p>\n
Steph remains sidelined with runner\u2019s knee. It\u2019s not a serious injury, but it\u2019s also not clear when he\u2019ll be back on the court.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Jimmy Butler III (right ACL tear)<\/p>\n
Butler\u2019s surgery for his ACL is scheduled for Monday. He stayed on the team through the trade deadline, and likely will through the summer, as well. You can expect to see him back on the court next January or February.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Seth Curry (left sciatic nerve irritation)<\/p>\n
Still just two games played for the younger Curry, who will be re-evaluated over the All-Star break.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 LJ Cryer (left hamstring injury)<\/p>\n
It really is a bummer for Cryer that he keeps being injured for shorthanded games where the Warriors would likely play him.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Kristaps Porzi\u0146\u0123is (not with team)<\/p>\n
Technically speaking, the injury report doesn\u2019t list Porzi\u0146\u0123is, but it does list Hield, Kuminga, and Jackson-Davis as being not with the team. That\u2019s because the trades haven\u2019t been finalized yet, and physicals haven\u2019t yet been passed. Which is also why the Warriors haven\u2019t officially announced the deal yet.<\/p>\n
Questionable \u2014 De\u2019Anthony Melton (left knee soreness)<\/p>\n
Melton wasn\u2019t traded at the deadline, which likely means the Warriors are hoping to keep him around after this season. Unfortunately, it\u2019s not clear if he\u2019ll play tonight.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Devin Booker (right ankle sprain)<\/p>\n
Both teams will be without their All-Star and the face of their franchise. A bummer for fans.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Jalen Green (right hamstring injury management; left hip contusion)<\/p>\n
Green was the biggest piece the Suns received in the Kevin Durant trade, but the former second-overall pick has only appeared in two games for Phoenix.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Cole Anthony (not with team)
Out \u2014 Amir Coffey (not with team)<\/p>\n
As with Porzi\u0146\u0123is, Anthony and Coffey don\u2019t actually appear on the injury report. Instead, it\u2019s Nick Richards and Nigel Hayes-Davis, the outgoing pieces of Phoenix\u2019s deadline dealing, that are listed.<\/p>\n
