Giannis Antetokounmpo turned to social media to confirm he\u2019s staying in Milwaukee<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The star Bucks forward posted a clip<\/a> on both Instagram and X accounts from the popular movie \u201cThe Wolf of Wall Street,\u201d where Leonardo DiCaprio shouts, \u201cI\u2019m not f\u2013king leaving. The show goes on. This is my home. They\u2019re gonna need a f\u2013king wrecking ball to take me outta here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Antetokounmpo, 31, was at the center of trade rumors before Thursday\u2019s 3 p.m. trade deadline, particularly being linked to<\/a> the Knicks.<\/p>\n

However, he stressed that he wanted to remain with Milwaukee<\/a> through the process, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported<\/a> Tuesday.<\/p>\n

For now, the Greek Freak has gotten his wish.<\/p>\n

But the Bucks could look to ship him off in the offseason, at which point he\u2019d have two years left on his contract.<\/p>\n

Amid all the trade buzz, though, Antetokounmpo hasn\u2019t played in over a week due to a strained calf he sustained in a loss to the Nuggets on Jan. 27.<\/p>\n

Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said there\u2019s no timetable for his return, but Antetokounmpo said he expects to be out for four to six weeks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Compounding matters, Milwaukee has struggled and dropped eight of its last 11 matchups, slipping to a 20-29 record, two spots out of a postseason berth in the Eastern Conference.<\/p>\n

The slide continues Milwaukee\u2019s downward spiral since winning an NBA title in 2021.<\/p>\n

It fell in the second round the following year and failed to make it out of the first round in each of the last three campaigns.<\/p>\n

Now, the Bucks are in danger of missing the playoffs entirely for the first time since the 2015-16 season.<\/p>\n

But at least they still have their best player \u2014 for now.<\/p>\n
