While Chicago lost, Simons led his new team in scoring with 22 points, picking up right where he left off in Boston.<\/p>\n<p>After the game, Simons <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CHSN_Bulls\/status\/2019624074415141311\" rel=\"nofollow\">opened up about his whirlwind week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"nesn-in-content-ad__copy\">Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMan, just taking it in stride, you know what I mean? Everything is moving so fast,\u201d Simons told the media. \u201cJust me and the guys in the morning, basically, and go through shootaround with them, go out there and play in an NBA game. I\u2019m still taking it one day at a time. Just getting a real relationship with everybody, gotta keep building.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A midseason trade is much more chaotic than an offseason trade, as Simons had all summer to settle into his new home and develop chemistry with his Celtics teammates. This time around, he\u2019s joining a team in the middle of the season and trying to get up to speed as fast as possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"nesn-in-content-ad__copy\">Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Simons is already off to a good start on that front, immediately joining the Bulls\u2019 starting rotation after accepting a bench role with Boston.
