Jaylen Brown is the team\u2019s lone All-Star selection this year, but he won\u2019t be the only player from the organization representing the team during the festivities.<\/p>\n<p>Two-way guard <a href=\"https:\/\/nesn.com\/2026\/02\/celtics-breakout-star-reveals-why-he-returned-to-boston\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ron Harper Jr.<\/a> is also poised to play a big role during the All-Star break. Harper was selected to be a part of the G League team for the 2026 Rising Stars Game, thanks in large part to his stellar production for the Maine Celtics (26.9 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG, 49.7 FG%).<\/p>\n<p>That isn\u2019t the only part of the festivities that Harper will be partaking in, though. On Saturday afternoon, the C\u2019s revealed on social media that Harper will be <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/celtics\/status\/2020181735347220793\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">participating in the Shooting Stars contest<\/a> alongside his brother, San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper, and his father, 15-year NBA veteran Ron Harper Sr.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s go Team Harper \ud83d\udcab Ron will join his father and brother in the Shooting Stars contest at the All-Star Skills Challenge,\u201d the Celtics announced in a post on X.<\/p>\n<p>It will be awesome to see the Harper family team up for this contest, but this is really a testament to the work Ron Jr. has been putting in for the Celtics as of late. In the team\u2019s 114-93 win over the Houston Rockets, Harper logged 33 minutes for Boston, racking up 11 points and nine rebounds for the team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"nesn-in-content-ad__copy\">Story continues below advertisement<\/p>\n<p>With Boston moving Anfernee Simons to the Chicago Bulls, there could be room for Harper to earn more minutes down the stretch for the team.
