Kerr revealed the Warriors have ruled the oft-injured big man out for the next three games as he works with Rick Celebrini, Golden State’s director of sports medicine and performance.

“I saw him at the hotel last night and had a good chat,” Kerr said. “He’s excited; we’re excited. He got a workout in today with Rick, and so we’ll see where it goes from here. … I think the plan is he’ll be in the Bay all of All-Star break, and he’ll play after the break.”

Steve Kerr met with Kristaps Porzingis at the team hotel last night

Porzingis got a workout in with Rick Celebrini this morning but has been ruled out through the All-Star break. Golden State also is being cautious with their 38-year-old star, who has dealt with knee soreness in the past.

Kerr was asked about Curry’s status going forward before Saturday’s game.

“I think he’s doubtful — obviously, won’t play tonight — I would say doubtful for the next one, but we’ll see,” Kerr stated. “I mean, that’s what Rick is for, you know, that’s what we lean on him for. So, I think there’s a good chance that he doesn’t play until after the break, but we’re just gonna take it day by day, but Tuesday he’s doubtful.”

Steve Kerr on Steph Curry’s knee: “There’s a good chance he doesn’t play until after the All-Star break.” @NBCSWarriors

— Dalton Johnson (@DaltonJ_Johnson) February 8, 2026

Long story short, don’t expect to see Curry and Porzingis take the floor together for the first time until at least Feb. 19, when the Warriors face the Boston Celtics in their first game after the All-Star break.

Download and follow the Dubs Talk Podcast

The Warriors have just three games left before the 2026 NBA All-Star break next weekend, including Saturday’s matchup…

[3724
7,871,932,863
0":"post-590346","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-basketball","8":"tag-basketball","9":"tag-kristaps-porzingis","10":"tag-steph-curry","11":"tag-steve-kerr
["GET
