Victor Wembanyama has quickly become of the most well-known players in the NBA.<\/p>\n

For good reason, as the San Antonio Spurs<\/a>‘ superstar is the tallest player with immense skill the league has ever seen.<\/p>\n

It has earned him a spot in some sports and hip-hop crossover, too.<\/p>\n

J. Cole, in a track featuring Future, has included Wemby in lyrics as part of his new album.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The song, called Run A Train, is on the album The Fall Off.<\/p>\n

\u201cTryna to make a legal dollar seem harder than guarding Wemby,\u201d J. Cole raps.<\/p>\n

The idea: It’s even harder to make it out of a tough financial situation than it is to guard the 7-foot-4 (or taller) basketball superstar.<\/p>\n

Considering that basically no one can guard Wembanyama, it’s quite the comparison.<\/p>\n

It’s not the only crossover on the album with the NBA, either. J. Cole also shouts out Minnesota Timberwolves forward Naz Reid on a different song<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wemby was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft out of France.<\/p>\n

This season, Wembanyama is averaging 23.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.7 blocks and 0.9 steals per game while shooting a career-best 36.0% from 3-point range.<\/p>\n

And now he’s got himself a song lyric to add to the mix — it likely won’t be the last such honor, either.<\/p>\n
