The Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> will travel on the road to face the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> on Monday. This will be the second matchup of the season between the two squads. Last time, OKC made a statement in a lopsided victory<\/a> on Nov. 12.<\/p>\n

The Thunder (40-13) have lost two in a row. A duct-tape offense wasn’t enough in a 112-106 loss<\/a> to the Houston Rockets<\/a> on Saturday. Chet Holmgren had 17 points and 14 rebounds. Cason Wallace scored 23 points.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Lakers (32-19) have won three in a row. They had a 105-99 win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. LeBron James stepped up with 20 points and 10 rebounds.<\/p>\n

The Thunder will be without their MVP candidate. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdominal strain) is out. Ajay Mitchell (abdominal strain) is out. Nikola Topic (testicular surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out.<\/p>\n

The Lakers will also be without their MVP candidate. Luka Doncic (hamstring strain) is out. Deandre Ayton (knee soreness) is probable. Adou Thiero (MCL sprain) is out.<\/p>\n
