For the 11th time in his career, Steph Curry was chosen to be an All-Star and was all set to play for one of two US teams in what will be a brand-new format, an attempt to rejuvenate interest in a concept that has seen waning interest from both the players and the fans. Curry has been one of the event\u2019s few main attractions, having won All-Star MVP two times in his career, both of which saw him perform entertaining feats on the court.<\/p>\n
However, the game\u2019s main attraction is set to miss this year\u2019s edition, which is going to be held in Intuit Dome, the home of the Los Angeles Clippers.<\/p>\n
Per Steve Kerr prior to tonight\u2019s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, not only will Curry miss tonight\u2019s tilt and the Golden State Warriors\u2019 game against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, he will also sit out the All-Star Game, electing to rest an ailing knee that was diagnosed with \u201cPatellofemoral Pain Syndrome,\u201d more commonly known as \u201crunner\u2019s knee.\u201d<\/p>\n
