The 2026 NBA<\/a> All-Star Game in Los Angeles will now be without one of basketball\u2019s biggest stars.<\/p>\n

According to Bleacher Report<\/a>, it has been confirmed as per Golden State Warriors<\/a> head coach Steve Kerr that Stephen Curry<\/a>, who has 12 All-Star selections<\/a> to his name, will not play in this weekend\u2019s All-Star<\/a> Game due to a knee injury.<\/p>\n

Stephen Curry is RULED OUT for the 2026 All-Star game with a knee injury, per HC Steve Kerr<\/p>\n

As per espn.com<\/a>, Curry is currently experiencing issues with patellofemoral pain syndrome, which is also known as runner\u2019s knee.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a matter of learning as I go what works rehab-wise,\u201d Curry said to ESPN regarding his injury.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause it\u2019s still painful. You have to try to get rid of all the inflammation and pain. It\u2019s something we still have to monitor and injury-manage, but it\u2019s something where, if I come back too early, it could flare up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Curry missing in action for Warriors<\/p>\n

Curry\u2019s knee problem has now caused him to miss four consecutive games for the Warriors, including Monday\u2019s 114-113 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies.<\/p>\n

Golden State will also be without Curry when they take on the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> in their next matchup. However, the Warriors have hopes that the two-time NBA MVP will be fit enough to play in their home clash against the Boston Celtics on February 19, following the All-Star break<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As for the All-Star<\/a> Game, the event will now be missing a couple of league MVPs with Curry and Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also unavailable because of an injury<\/a>.<\/p>\n
