{"id":594897,"date":"2026-02-10T16:46:42","date_gmt":"2026-02-10T16:46:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/594897\/"},"modified":"2026-02-10T16:46:42","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T16:46:42","slug":"pelicans-rout-kings-120-94-for-second-straight-victory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/594897\/","title":{"rendered":"Pelicans rout Kings, 120-94, for second straight victory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) &#8211; Trey Murphy III scored 21 points and rookie Jeremiah Fears added 20 more as the New Orleans Pelicans routed the Sacramento Kings, 120-94, Monday (Feb. 9) at the Smoothie King Center.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Following last Friday\u2019s upset of the Timberwolves in Minnesota, the Pelicans (15-40) have won two games in a row, for only the fourth time this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Pelicans shot 54 percent from the floor to the Kings\u2019 40 percent. New Orleans trailed by five points early in the first quarter, before steadily building a lead as massive as 32 points in cruising to victory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Kings (12-43) are one of just three NBA teams with a worse record than the Pelicans.
