The Detroit Pistons<\/a>\u2019 \u201cBad Boy\u201d era has been brought up so often as of late, as the new era finds success, and does so while maintaining a gritty approach to the game.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s safe to say the legendary Pistons guard Isiah Thomas is thrilled to see the Cade Cunningham-led squad continue to carry the torch throughout the 2025-2026 NBA<\/a> season.<\/p>\n

After the Pistons got into a heated scuffle with the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night, Thomas took to Instagram<\/a> to send a message on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet it be known we don\u2019t die, we multiply!\u201d<\/p>\n

The legendary Rip Hamilton showed his support for Thomas\u2019 message, commenting with a “100” emoji.<\/p>\n

During the third quarter of Monday\u2019s Pistons-Hornets battle, the All-Star center Jalen Duren got into the face of Moussa Diabate after a foul. The two exchanged shoves, with the veteran Miles Bridges getting involved.<\/p>\n

Players, coaches, and the officials didn\u2019t struggle to break up a short-lived scuffle. But another one took place shortly after. Once the veteran center Isaiah Stewart saw Bridges go at Duren, he rushed the Hornets\u2019 veteran, despite being on the bench at the time.<\/p>\n

Once again, players, coaches, and officials had to rush over to de-escalate the situation. All four players were ejected, but the energy from the scene was maintained throughout the remainder of the game.<\/p>\n

The Pistons ended up overcoming the loss of their top two bigs and snapped a nine-game winning streak for the Hornets. While they are bracing for a potential suspension for Duren, and the repeat offender, Stewart, the Hall of Fame guard is embracing a blast from the past.<\/p>\n
