The Detroit Pistons<\/a> and the Charlotte Hornets<\/a> stole headlines this week after they had an intense brawl on Monday night in North Carolina.<\/p>\n

A lot occurred in a matter of minutes, and many moments from the altercation went viral on social media. The Pistons\u2019 veteran sharpshooter Duncan Robinson didn\u2019t get involved, but his on-court reaction created its own viral video, leading NBA<\/a> fans to laugh, while one former player calls him out.<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, if it ever comes a time where your teammates act like they don\u2019t trust you, you earned that, dawg,\u201d said former NBA standout, Lou Williams. \u201cThat\u2019s a bad jawn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Williams\u2019 argument wasn\u2019t a suggestion that Robinson should\u2019ve been involved in the same capacity as someone like Isaiah Stewart, who left the Pistons\u2019 bench to square up with Charlotte\u2019s Miles Bridges, but the veteran hooper believes that Robinson could\u2019ve helped break it up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to make it about you, but you got to at least go over there and grab a teammate\u2014do something\u2014you can\u2019t turn your back,\u201d Williams added. \u201cListen you don\u2019t have to be, nonviolent is nonviolent, but you can\u2019t turn your back on the guys while they are squabbling. You can\u2019t do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Pistons are easily one of the chippiest teams in the NBA, embracing the Bad Boys reputation that was created well before this roster\u2019s time. Robinson didn\u2019t get the memo to be on board at that moment.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking at it from one lens, the Pistons will be happy to know that one of their top shooters won\u2019t be slapped with a punishment. The same probably won\u2019t be able to be said for others on the team.<\/p>\n

The All-Star center Jalen Duren was the first to get involved. He was one of four players hit with an ejection when the dust settled. Stewart was the other, which didn\u2019t come as a surprise to anybody tuned in. Unfortunately, Stewart\u2019s history of acting as a Pistons enforcer could play into a heftier punishment compared to his peers. The Pistons might be shorthanded for some time.<\/p>\n

As the organization waits on the league\u2019s final decision, the Pistons are preparing for their final game before the All-Star break. They are set to face the Toronto Raptors for a 7:30 PM ET tip on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
