The Warriors, on the other hand, are limping into the break.

Here’s the full injury report.

Out — Steph Curry (right patellofemoral pain syndrome)

Nothing new here with Curry’s case of runner’s knee. The Warriors had already ruled him out not just for this game, but for Sunday’s All-Star contest as well, in which he had been named a starter. The hope is that he’ll be on the court when the team returns to action next Thursday. Speaking of which…

Out — Kristaps Porziņģis (left Achilles tendon injury management)

Porziņģis’ Warriors’ debut will come after the break as well. The team is optimistic about him being able to return for Thursday’s game, which is against the Boston Celtics, the team he won the 2024 NBA championship with.

Out — Jimmy Butler III (right ACL tear)

No such optimism for Butler, who underwent surgery for his torn ACL on Monday. He not only is missing this game, but was snubbed from Friday’s Rising Stars challenge.

Out — Seth Curry (left sciatic nerve irritation)

At this point it’s fair to wonder if the younger Curry will play again this season. Though with Buddy Hield traded, the Warriors could look to bring him back next year to fill the shooter off the bench role.

Out — LJ Cryer (left hamstring injury management)

Cryer has been sidelined a while, unfortunately. Hopefully we can see him back on the court soon.

Out — Jeremy Sochan (not with team)

News somewhat surprisingly broke on Wednesday that Sochan and the Spurs were working on a release. After averaging at least 25 minutes and at least 11 points per game for each of his first three seasons, Sochan has had his role reduced dramatically this year, and has averaged just 12.8 minutes and 4.1 points per game, while getting a fair share of DNP-CDs.

Out — Lindy Waters III (left knee hyperextension)

The Dubs will get to see one old friend, in Harrison Barnes, but they won’t see another in Waters. The sharpshooter has played a minimal role for the Spurs this year, so he may not have seen the court even if he were healthy.

Enjoy the action, Dub Nation.
