Murray exploded for 43 points (17-of-26 FG, 8-of-14 3PT, 1-of-1 FT) in the Nuggets’ 131-115 win at home<\/a> on Tuesday to take a 3-2 series lead over the Clippers. Murray surpassed Nikola Jokic<\/a> for the most 40-point playoff games in Nuggets history <\/a>with his sixth. The feat was even more impressive considering the fact that Murray only made it to the free throw line one time during the entire contest. He’s the only player in NBA playoff history to score 43+ points with one free throw attempt or less.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was born for this,” Nuggets interim coach David Adelman said<\/a> postgame.<\/p>\n
