Jalen Williams first injured his hamstring on Jan. 17 against the Heat.\u00a0<\/p>\n

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) \u2014 Thunder guard\/forward Jalen Williams will sit out against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday night with a nagging right hamstring injury.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Williams\u2019 second time being sidelined with the same injury over the past month. The team plans to reevaluate him after the NBA All-Star break, Thunder coach Mark Daigneault said Thursday. The game against Milwaukee is Oklahoma City\u2019s last before the break.<\/p>\n

Williams first injured his hamstring during the Thunder\u2019s Jan. 17 game against the\u00a0Heat, clutching his leg after attempting to grab an awkward pass in the second quarter. Williams was later ruled out and went on to miss 10 consecutive games.<\/p>\n

He returned to game action on Monday night, helping the Thunder to a 119-110 win against the Lakers with a\u00a023-point performance. He followed that with\u00a028 points\u00a0on 11-for-12 shooting in a 136-109 win against the Suns on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Last season, Williams was an All-Star, a third-team All-NBA selection and a second-team All-Defense pick who helped Oklahoma City win the championship.<\/p>\n

The Thunder are also without reigning league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander due to an abdominal strain.
