Former Wisconsin Badger Micah Potter delivered the best performance of his NBA career on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n
Potter played 26 minutes off the bench in the Indiana Pacers<\/a>‘ 115-110 win over the Brooklyn Nets<\/a>. He recorded a career-high 19 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks, while shooting 6-of-8 from the floor, 1-of-2 from 3 and 6-of-8 from the free-throw line.<\/p>\n The former Badger signed with the Pacers in late December<\/a>. He has appeared in 22 games for the team, starting three, averaging 7.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.4 steals. He’s also averaging 46.4% from the floor, 37.5% from 3 and 88.1% from the charity stripe.<\/p>\n The season has been by far the best of Potter’s five-year NBA career. The former Badger is averaging a career-high in points (1.7), rebounds (4.3) and assists (1.5). He has carved a regular place in the Pacers’ bench rotation, totaling more than 25 minutes in each of the last three games.<\/p>\n Potter excelled during his two years helping to lead the Badgers<\/a>. He averaged 10.1 points and 6.2 rebounds as a junior in 2020-21 and delivered 12.5 points and 5.9 rebounds as a senior the following year.
